Two Amazing Linville Wedding Venues
Grandfather Country Club – The Camp at Eseeola…
Claudia and Trip took full advantage of two of the most amazing venues in Linville when they planned their wedding ceremony on an island at Grandfather Country Club and their reception at The Camp at Eseeola. The island makes for a spectacular place to get married with Grandfather Mountain towering above, watching over. There is a perfect place to get a bird’s eye view to take it all in from one of the several bridges that connect the islands. And equally as wonderful is rustic, yet sophisticated Camp Yonohnoka at Eseeola. Again, Grandfather keeps watch over all the festivities.
Claudia grew up spending precious time in Linville and these two locations held lots of special memories for her. The bear motif was used in multiple ways…featured on the gorgeous wedding stationery created by I Do Invitations by Sue Coe Designs, bear table markers, bear wedding favors – delicious iced sugar cookies by Stick Boy Bread Company, and Trip wore custom bear cufflinks! Why was the bear so important? In the mountains of Northwest North Carolina, bears are a part of our culture and folklore. On the night that Trip proposed to Claudia, they spotted a bear as he wandered by and that inspired them to include the black bear in their wedding.
High Country Wedding Professionals
The wedding weekend was coordinated by Events by Elizabeth Ashley, one of our favorite High Country Event Professionals. We know when Elizabeth is at the helm, it is sure to be smooth sailing. It’s been our pleasure to photograph many events that she’s coordinated at both venues: Grandfather Country Club – The Camp at Eseeola.
Other talented vendors who contributed their skills to make Trip and Claudia’s wedding day a huge success were Janna and Kristi of Calista Designs, who made magic of the florals, rentals by Classic Event Rentals and Old South Vintage Rentals, and transportation by Air Haven Limousine, High Country Transportation, and Black Car Service. Beauty was provided by The Spa at Eseeola Lodge.
It takes a team to produce a beautiful wedding and there are wonderful, talented, highly skilled professionals in the High Country to choose from.
