Gilson is an accomplished musician so bringing his guitar to his senior portrait session wasn’t even a question. What can you bring to your session to show WHO you are? Maybe it’s your dog who has been with you since kindergarten or the car you got for your sweet 16 birthday. Or perhaps, it’s a favorite book or place. Whatever makes YOU special is what we’ll include in your senior portrait. Senior portraits are a unique opportunity to express this exciting juncture in your life of who you’ve become and who you hope to be.
We love working in downtown Winston-Salem. The old brick building with its fading and peeling paint served as a great backdrop for Gilson’s portrait. It is just a stone’s throw from Old Salem.
A community that had its beginnings over 250 years ago, Old Salem consists of 18th and 19th century restored/recreated buildings from the original Moravians who first settled in North Carolina. Handmade bricks, painted barns, interesting doorways, and the famous covered bridge all offer wonderful opportunities for portraits. Old Salem is a popular tourist destination and a fun place to stroll through the streets admiring the buildings that are open for tour as well as the private homes. In 1966, the Old Salem Historic District was made a National Historic Landmark. It’s a Winston-Salem treasure.
Other portrait location options in the downtown area are more modern, edgy, and urban. We’ve got whatever location best fits your unique personality. Contact us today to discuss YOUR senior portraits.
