Our Baby Portrait Plan is designed to follow this whole beautiful season, with three thoughtfully timed sessions that document your baby as they grow and change—naturally, without forcing the timeline.
For families in Boone and the NC High Country who want more than a single newborn session, the Baby Portrait Plan offers a series of thoughtfully planned sessions designed to grow with your baby. From quiet, sleepy studio portraits to joyful outdoor milestones, we create finished portraits designed to be lived with and enjoyed for years to come.
You’ll have two experienced photographers at every session, a warm studio environment for your newborn portraits, and the Blue Ridge Mountains as your backdrop as your baby grows.
A Baby Portrait Plan Built Around Three Thoughtful Sessions
Newborn
The newborn session takes place at our studio, within the first two weeks of life. This is when babies are at their most peaceful and posable, and the studio gives us complete control over light and environment so every detail, the curve of a sleeping cheek, the fold of a tiny hand, can be captured with care and intention.
Sitting Up
Between 6 and 9 months, your baby has figured out something remarkable. They can sit up on their own and look at the world with a whole new sense of wonder. This session takes place on location in the High Country, where everything feels a little more open, playful, and full of personality. Families, siblings, and pets are all welcome at this session.
Standing or Walking
As your baby becomes more confident and curious, this final session captures a completely different kind of energy—movement, personality, and those little moments of independence that seem to appear overnight. We keep the timing flexible so we can plan for a beautiful day and photograph your child exactly as they are in this stage.
Add a Maternity Session
Want to begin a little earlier? A maternity session adds an opening chapter to this season. We plan it around 33 weeks of pregnancy, when you’re feeling your best and everything still carries that quiet sense of anticipation.
You can add a maternity session to your Baby Portrait Plan for $100.
Your Investment
The Baby Portrait Plan includes three sessions for $470. Planning ahead allows us to design each session with intention and provides preferred pricing across your finished portraits.
Rather than pre-selecting products, the plan gives you the flexibility to choose what you love most after seeing your portraits. During your viewing appointment, we’ll guide you through your images, projected large and side by side, so you can choose with confidence.
Every finished portrait includes a companion digital file suitable for printing up to 8×10, and all portrait products are backed by a lifetime guarantee.
When you choose custom wall art, we provide complimentary in-home delivery and installation.
