We’ll walk through everything together: where you’d like to go, what to wear, and whether the dog is coming. If you have little ones who need winning over, we come prepared—think puppets, silly jokes, songs, and just enough goofiness to bring out real smiles. Viewing Your Family Portraits for the First Time
About a week or two after your session, we’ll schedule your viewing appointment. Local clients join us at the studio, where we project your portraits large, beautiful, and side by side. If you’re traveling, we’ll meet by video for a guided viewing experience.
We’ll help you narrow down your favorites so nothing feels overwhelming. Since this is your opportunity to view all of your portraits, we ask that everyone involved in the decision-making process plans to attend.

A portrait session at Burton Photography begins with a $790 booking fee. That fee secures your date and includes a $600 portrait credit that applies toward whatever you choose at your viewing appointment.
Every family session includes:
- Complimentary planning consultation

- Delivery of your finished portraits, with in-home installation available for wall art
- Lifetime guarantee on all portrait products
- A companion digital file with every portrait you purchase, suitable for printing up to 8×10
Extended multi-generational sessions are $2,170 and include a $1,980 portrait credit. That credit gives larger families a strong starting point toward a custom portrait collection.
