Burton Photography creates newborn and baby portraits in a warm, relaxed environment at our studio just east of Boone, North Carolina. We serve families throughout the High Country, from Boone and Blowing Rock to Banner Elk, Linville, and West Jefferson.
Newborn sessions take place at our studio within the first two weeks of life, when babies are at their most peaceful and poseable. As your baby hits those early milestones, sitting up, finding their feet, taking those first wobbly steps, we head outdoors for portrait sessions on location in the Blue Ridge Mountains. For families who want to document this whole beautiful season, we offer a Baby Portrait Plan: three portrait sessions that follow your child from newborn through those first remarkable milestones, timed to the seasons when the Blue Ridge Mountains are at their most beautiful for outdoor portraits.
Every session begins with a planning conversation to discuss your vision, your nursery colors, and any special props or details you want to include. Our studio is fully equipped for newborn sessions and the experience is always unhurried. With two photographers at every session, we work entirely at your baby’s pace.
